Help

How to order from Canine Crumb, from your first treat to your account.

Build a formula for your dog

Answer a few questions about your dog and we recommend the treats that suit them, under a formula name of their own.

Start

  1. Open Build a formula. Tell us the breed — from a photo where the store offers it, or Choose From a List.
  2. Answer the questions, pressing Next after each. ← Back goes back a step.
  3. On the recipe card, press Tweak to change an answer, then Formulate my treats.

Use the results

  1. From your results:
    • Add to cart on any pick.
    • Tweak my answers to change an answer.
    • Browse the whole menu to see everything the store sells.
  • Treats with an ingredient you said to avoid are never recommended. A treat whose ingredients the store has not listed is left out for a dog that avoids anything.
  • Signed in, you can save the dog to your account at the end and start the next build from their profile.

Shop and your cart

Everything the store sells is in its shop, with filters for category, price and size.

Find and add something

  1. Open the shop from the top of the page. Choose filters and press Show; Clear all starts over.
  2. Open a product, choose its option if it has one, and press Add to cart.

Check your cart

  1. Open the cart from the top of the page. For each item:
    • + or − to change the amount.
    • Remove to take it out.
  2. Press Proceed to checkout.
  • When only a few of something are left, the page says how many, and your cart cannot hold more than the store has.

Checkout

Give your details, choose pickup, and place the order — signed in or as a guest.

Place an order

  1. Fill in Your details. Signed in, they are filled in for you from your account.
  2. Choose Pickup and, if the store has more than one, where you will collect it.
  3. Press Continue to payment to pay by card, or Place order where the store arranges payment with you.
  • The confirmation page shows the order’s status. If it says it is still finishing up, it checks again by itself every few seconds.
  • If a card payment did not go through, press Try the payment again on that page — your order is kept.

A monthly treat box

A treat your dog likes can come every month, billed monthly.

Start a box

  1. Save your dog to your account, then on your results press the monthly button on the treat you want, and pay.

Pause or cancel it

  1. Open Treat boxes in your account.
  2. On the box:
    • Pause billing stops the bills until you press Resume.
    • Cancel box ends it at the end of the period you have paid for.
  • A dog with a treat box cannot be archived until the box is cancelled — the reason shows on that dog, with a link to Treat boxes.

Your account

Your dogs, your orders, your details and your password, all in one place.

Your dogs

  1. In My Dogs:
    • + Add a dog or Edit one.
    • Archive hides a dog you no longer build for; Unarchive brings it back.

Your details

  1. In My details, set your name, phone and delivery address and press Save my details. Checkout fills them in for you.

Your orders

  1. Orders lists everything you have ordered here. Reorder puts an order’s treats back in your cart.

Your password

  1. Open Security.
  2. Enter your Current password and the new one.
  3. Press Change password.
  • If a store keeps its own notes about you or your dogs, your account says so — never what they say.
  • If your account cannot check something just now, it says so rather than showing nothing. Reload to try again.
