Terms of service

These terms apply when you use this site or buy from Canine Crumb. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who you are buying from

You are buying from Canine Crumb. The site runs on BowlBase, which provides the shop, checkout and accounts for Canine Crumb.

Your account

• You need an account for some things, such as saving your dogs or managing a monthly box. You can also order as a guest.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give us details that are true and keep them up to date, especially your email and delivery address.

Orders and prices

• Prices are shown in US dollars. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout.
• An order is accepted when you receive our confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock or a price was shown in error. If we cancel after you paid, we refund you in full.
• Pickup and delivery are described in our Shipping and delivery policy. Returns and refunds are described in our Returns policy.

Payments

• Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Some services and custom orders take a deposit when you book or order. The amount is shown before you pay.

The monthly treat box

• A monthly box renews and charges your card every month until you pause or cancel it.
• You can pause or cancel at any time in My Account, under Treat boxes. A box already charged is still sent.

Your dog's health

• Our treats are food, not medicine. Nothing on this site is veterinary advice.
• Our treat recommendations and our chat assistant are suggestions to help you choose. The chat assistant uses artificial intelligence and can be wrong.
• Always check the ingredient list against your dog's allergies, and ask your vet if your dog has a health condition.

Using the site

• Do not misuse the site: no attempts to break in, overload it, or collect other people's information.
• Photos you upload to identify your dog's breed are used for that purpose only and are not kept.

Liability

We make treats with care, but to the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page applies to orders placed after it was posted.
